I am sooooo tired (yawn)

I cant believe how tired I am today. I didn't go to bed late (10.30pm) and was up at 7am but feel like I have had about 4 hours sleep. I think it may be the muggy heat we have although it rained almost all of last night. I woke up and listened to the rain for ages. I just love the sound of rain as long as I am not out in it.

I was working today and really couldnt be bothered with it. I really should have went to the gym tonight ( got to drop a dress size for Haley's wedding ) but will go on Thur instead when Mark gets in from work. I have recently joined the gym at my work for 6 weeks for £20. I thought I would see how I get on using it, and if I use it a lot then will join ( monthly £17.50) I went on Monday and it was really hard although not really sore - does that mean I didnt work hard enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a sadder note, my friend Kirsty, who I have known since I was 12, has booked her flights to go to Oz with her daughter and hubby. She is leaving us on the 31st July. I cant believe she is doing this but wish her all the luck and happiness and hope its everything she has hoped for. She is really brave as I know I couldnt do this. Unfortunately I wont be able to go to her leaving party as its on the same day as my sisters wedding but I will pop though to see her one day and take through some photos of when we were younger so we can have a laugh about them. I need to get them scanned then put onto a disk and then printed off. I was peeing myself when I was looking though these LOL.

Archie is fine but his favourite work at the moment is NO. You ask him if he wants something and he replies NO but then 2 mins later asks for whatever you asked him if he wanted. Also, his favourite programme is back on. In the night garden is a definate hit in this household and I though my boy loved Thomas.......... He screams as soon as In the night garden finishes and wants it back on. I really wish I had a recordable DVD player so I could tape them and just keep putting them on for him ...........

Right off to spend some time with hubby before I depart to bed.

Take care

Gosh - I hadn't realised you'd been friends with Kirsty for 20 years. Ah well, you'll have to save for a holiday to Australia. :)

Lucy's a fan of "In The Night Garden" too. Tonight's episode (a repeat of Upsy Daisy singing loudly and the Tomblyboos banging on the piano) seemed to go on forever!
