Spew.........

I started out with good intentions and did try to update every day but Archie has been ill since Thursday so not had the time to do anything but look after my poor wee man.

It all started on Thursday night when he woke up during the night and was so hot we had to strip him. I had to bring him into my bed where he just lay on top of the covers. He had a good dose of calpol but if he got any hotter I thought it was going to be a wee trip to A&E ( after we had tried a cool bath) but it was very scary. Luckily he is just choked with the cold now but I just cant keep on top of the snot running into his mouth ( sorry TMI) He has even started to get my hand and wipe his nose on it (but what can I say, at least he is trying !!!!!!) I havent been feeling to great myself so been going to bed early but thankfully Archie has slept through after Thursday night. He has just spewed on me though but think its just all the flem (SP) in his tummy. Well better out than in I always say

My sister, myself and my mum have been talking about having a girlie holiday in New York and we had been talking about going in November but they now fancy going in April ( ahhhh mad panic as I try to save pennies for then !!!!!!!!!) Haley is getting married in July so the excuse is we can go wedding shopping ( ie mother of the bride and bridesmaid dress shopping) Archie will stay with his daddy so just need to book something and give Mark the dates. This means there will be no stash shopping for me until then although I think I will treat myself to an order from the USA to be delivered to my hotel so I can bring it back with me. On the subject of stash shopping, my visa has been geting hammered. I gave in and got the AMM tote-ally cool tote in seafoam. I have been meaning to get one of these for ages as my craft desk is a nightmare and its fantastic. It holds all my craft tools and pens etc. I also got some alcohol inks and loads of alphabets. Now I just need to get photos developed at Costoc and I can get a LO done.

We have our next crop on the 20th Jan and Haley is coming along. She is going to be making a few wedding invites to see which one she will mass produce for the big day. She is also getting her attic converted into her craft area ( Lucky bitch !!!!!!) although she doesnt like to go stash shopping as much as myself............... things may change after NY though. Wonder if Michaels on Staten Island has any decent stamps. Might go online and check as we could go a wee trip over ( an excuse to see the Statue of Liberty as last time we were there we really didnt do anything touristy - we did see Tom Jones at the apollo theatre which was probably the best part of the holiday and the rest of the time we ( I ) shopped).
