oh what a night..... and uurggghh what a morning

Had a great day out yesterday with Kirsty and Shona. We all met up at about 3pm in the Rutland then went off to Indigo Yard for some food. The sun was really trying to come out but we couldnt get seats outside so we sat inside to eat. The food was lovely and Kirsty paid for it. bless. From there we went to Tigerlilly........all I can say is WOW. It is amazing in there. I could imagine it being very snotty though, the place where footballers would go...nough said !!!!!!!!!!

Sunday's are always my lie in days and this morning Archie got up at 7.45am so Mark got up with him but then at 9am after it taking me 30 mins to get back to sleep, Mark came in with a sausage sandwich. He meant well but I would have rather have stayed sleeping although I did eventuall;y fall back asleep only to wake at 11.15am ooopppssss. Feel a bit rough today but not as bad I really should for the amount we drank. Eugh just remembered about drinking shots - OMG they things are lethal and should be banned ( although we did get them for free as we had ordered chocolate cake and it took forever to come so when we asked about it they came over with our shots on the house)

Archie is just about to go for his afternon sleep on the couch so will go in for a shower then maybe have a play with my new Autumn Leaves stamps I got. I also got some of the new Heidi Swapp stamps (precious,delight,play,together,imagine,adore & treasure - Do you think I got enough ?!?! hehe) I also got some Scenic Route papers delivered ( laurel range) and they are just lush. I dont think I will get much use out of them doing LO's for Archie though but the plan is to do a mini book for Kirsty for going away and also start a BOM which I have been meaning to do for years. I have so many projects started but not finished I should really try and concentrate on one thing although what I have nearly finished is Archies hand print in clay. Just to choose some background papers and put it in the box frame so that is nearly done.

Anyway, I am off fo rmy shower now so if I think of anything else will let you know. Now I can actually add photos I may be updating this all the time LOL...........

I am off out this afternoon with my friends one of whom is moving to Australia shortly but not planning a late night as totally skint. I have Haley's hen day next weekend so we are going go-karting through in Livingston then off to the Balmoral in a private room for a meal so really looking forward to it. I cant belive its 6 weeks today until my little sis gets married and 2 days before that, Archie will be 2. Where does the time go?

Had to go to the post office this morning to collect a parcel from US and got some gorgeous AL stamps and a raw chipboard album. Cant wait to have a play and may even do some tonight. Wonder what a LO will turn out like when you are slightly tipsy LOL......

I have just been so busy but I promise to update this more often. Well what have I been up to........... I have since been to NY with my sister and my mum and had a ball. I spent far too much money but it was worth it. We also took Archie to the Bo'ness & Kinell railway for a day out with Thomas and my little bubba couldn't believe he was actually seeing Thomas and Percy IRL lol !!!!!!!

I am going to try and add some photos so hopefully it works. I really must work this out !!!!!!

Soz not updated for a while......

been a bit hectic. A few weeks ago I had to go into hospital with my apendix. Luckily overnight the pain subsided so I didnt have to have the op ( thank god ) and it has been fine since.

I have booked a holiday to NY with my mum and sister, a kind of pre wedding 'do' for my sister. I am planning to go to Jo-ann's on Staten Island which is a huge craft shop to buy LOADS of stash............ then off to Bloomingdales to buy a few more little brown bags ( my old one from 3 yrs ago is done so just have to buy a new one to take my sandwich to work in)

I have been having to do controlled crying with archie which isnt pleasant but is a neccessary evil. He just wouldnt go down and would scream for ages and get himself so worked up he was almost sick so daddy left it to me to sort it out and it has worked a treat. It only took 2 days, the first night he cried in total for 45 mins before falling asleep, the second night he cried in total for 25 mins then fell asleep and the third night he went into his cot, eyes wide open and didnt make a sound and eventually fell asleep. I wubs that boy !!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it has been his cold that knocked him out of his routine so here's hoping he will be back to normal and go down no problem.

Not got much else to say ( which is strange for me ) but I am planning on having a few vodka's tonight and watch a film. Not decided which film but fancy a comedy and I am sure I will find one in my huge collection of DVD's

I started out with good intentions and did try to update every day but Archie has been ill since Thursday so not had the time to do anything but look after my poor wee man.

It all started on Thursday night when he woke up during the night and was so hot we had to strip him. I had to bring him into my bed where he just lay on top of the covers. He had a good dose of calpol but if he got any hotter I thought it was going to be a wee trip to A&E ( after we had tried a cool bath) but it was very scary. Luckily he is just choked with the cold now but I just cant keep on top of the snot running into his mouth ( sorry TMI) He has even started to get my hand and wipe his nose on it (but what can I say, at least he is trying !!!!!!) I havent been feeling to great myself so been going to bed early but thankfully Archie has slept through after Thursday night. He has just spewed on me though but think its just all the flem (SP) in his tummy. Well better out than in I always say

My sister, myself and my mum have been talking about having a girlie holiday in New York and we had been talking about going in November but they now fancy going in April ( ahhhh mad panic as I try to save pennies for then !!!!!!!!!) Haley is getting married in July so the excuse is we can go wedding shopping ( ie mother of the bride and bridesmaid dress shopping) Archie will stay with his daddy so just need to book something and give Mark the dates. This means there will be no stash shopping for me until then although I think I will treat myself to an order from the USA to be delivered to my hotel so I can bring it back with me. On the subject of stash shopping, my visa has been geting hammered. I gave in and got the AMM tote-ally cool tote in seafoam. I have been meaning to get one of these for ages as my craft desk is a nightmare and its fantastic. It holds all my craft tools and pens etc. I also got some alcohol inks and loads of alphabets. Now I just need to get photos developed at Costoc and I can get a LO done.

We have our next crop on the 20th Jan and Haley is coming along. She is going to be making a few wedding invites to see which one she will mass produce for the big day. She is also getting her attic converted into her craft area ( Lucky bitch !!!!!!) although she doesnt like to go stash shopping as much as myself............... things may change after NY though. Wonder if Michaels on Staten Island has any decent stamps. Might go online and check as we could go a wee trip over ( an excuse to see the Statue of Liberty as last time we were there we really didnt do anything touristy - we did see Tom Jones at the apollo theatre which was probably the best part of the holiday and the rest of the time we ( I ) shopped).

anyway enough of my rambling

Happy New Year

hope you all have a great New Year. We sat in and had a few drinks, watched the TV and at the bells we were treated to fireworks going off up observatory hill which our house is right next to. The fireworks were going off above our house and Archie slept through it all. I even had to go in and check on him as I couldnt believe he didnt wake. He woke at 9.30am. I cant believe how much this little boy loves his sleep.

We went to MIL's for dinner yesterday and stayed the night. Archie's cousins were up and they sat and played with him for ages. He just adores his cousins and all the rough and tumble that comes with having 4 boys in the house. We put him down at 8.30pm and he cried for a few minutes but then went to sleep until 9am. I think I am well and truly spoiled having a child that sleeps so well although Mark is going back to work tomorrow so no doubt we will all be woken up early as usual !!!!!!!

Missed Torchwood last night so once Archie goes down for his afternoon sleep I will put this on teleport replay or I might even get a LO done. Havent scrapped in ages and feel like I have withdrawl symptoms. I have to get some of my photos developed and once I have these can get some christmas LO's done. I have got the gorgeous blonde moments christmas papers and ribbons to do these. Wish I had got more piccies of Archie opening his pressies though but he really wasnt that interested so will make up for it next year when I can imagine the wrapping paper will be flying.

Mark is feeling terrible ( hungover ) and he is off to the footie later so will be just me and my little boy. Might get some lining paper and crayons out for him as he loves drawing so this will hopefully occupy him for a little while. Off to have a quick browse through UKS before hubby cant handle Archie anymore
